Why should one come to our accommodation in Stara Planina? Well, every village here has a history and a specific architectural style, and so does Dojkinci. You can't really say that you have experienced the nature and tradition of this area without spending time in a place like our Dojkinci house. It will be an authentic, traditional, and yet modern accommodation with everything you need.
Dojkinci Accommodation
In accordance with our projects around Serbia - to reconstruct and rebuild old, traditional houses and make them liveable again - we came across a beautiful example in Dojkinci village. Again, we are renovating it with natural materials and the accommodation is going to be a lovely apartment for rent. Although it's going to be modern, you won't find any plywood here. Why Dojkinci? Besides Topli Do, Dojkinci is the most popular village in Stara Planina during summer. This is where you will start all the hikes towards the mountain peaks like Tri Čuke, Kopren, Vražja Glava, or Bratkova Strana. The area is extremely attractive with Ponor bay, Tupavica Waterfall, Romočki or Slavinjski Lonci, Dojkinačka River, and so many other natural landmarks. And it's all just a 45-minute drive from Pirot. Thank you for your interest in our reconstruction work in Dojkinci. We will let you know when the accommodation is ready to host its first guests. It’s straight up close, but it has to go in the boat.
Is there and where is the first store and restaurant?
The store is located in the villages Drmanovica and Akmacici, 5km from the cottage, and as far as the restaurant is concerned there are several in Nova Varos.
